The Basics
1) Always test any teaching
by anyone against what the Word (The Holy Bible ) says .
2) Although this study will primarily use the King James
Bible(KJV) of 1638 a.d., you may use others. As you compare other
translations, look for revelation . Below in 4) we use the New American
Standard(NAS).
3) Keep in mind that the Bible was written by spiritually
inspired writers, translated by spiritually inspired translators and can only be
spiritually discerned by you.
4) Remember what Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:7 (NAS),
"but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God predestined
before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has
understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of
glory; but just as it is written,
'Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have
not entered the heart of man,
all that God has prepared for those who love Him.' "
5) Before you study, pray for "eyes to see and ears to
hear", and believe that you receive.
