Noah Webster in 1833, updating common use English language of the original King James Version by about 200 years.

What is the "Annointing" ?
Luk 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath, and stood up to read.
Luk 4:17 And there was delivered to him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
